We already have way more than those 218 votes. We have had them for a long time. You guys keep arguing the wrong issue, beating the same dead horse. The only reason S.744 is not yet law is that Boehner and his Tea party accomplices will not allow the for the vote to proceed. What needs to be debated is why this vociferous minority has so much power in the first place. Nobody should have the authority to block the vote on a bill who has the votes to pass and has passed the other chamber. Nobody. But most Americans do not know this is actually going on because not enough of us care to make THATpoint.
