We always have deer in our yard, and usually Ill find them EATING my plants. Lately, Ive noticed theyve been eating the buds off my flowering plants and I find that so irritating! Earlier today I just happened to notice a doe nibbling away at what was obviously her lunch. In anger I decided to YELL at her and I began banging on the window. She looked at me as if to say, Whatever Lady, You dont scare me! and didnt even move, just lifted her head. I was literally shocked that she didnt run away, so I did what anybody else would do... I continued to chat with her for a bit (yeah, I was talking with a deer) But, I quickly realized she wasnt afraid of me at all. So, as I was continuing my conversation with her, Mitch decided to throw her some carrots. She didnt even run as they dropped in front of her, in fact, I think she was very intrigued and found them to be quite delightful. Eventually, she was spooked by something and bounced away. About 4 hours later guess what? She was there again. I am guessing she was back because it was now DINNER time. We went through the same routine, I yelled, knocked on the window and started talking with her again. This time we threw her carrots and apples and I was able to capture this little video before she took off again. Do you think shell be back for breakfast? More importantly, I think she needs a name, any suggestions?
