We always suggest adopting pairs of kittens for many reasons. Sometimes the special adopter comes in looking for two, but then cannot split a litter of three...and takes a chance of a lifetime! Adopter, Elaine, writes: I love my kitties. I got all three at one time as I could not make a decision to leave any one behind. Plus, they look more stunning collectively than individually and they are all really cute. They all have something different to offer. Sugar Pea, as you is very friendly and is the one who sleeps on my bed at night. Jean Pierre, is very picky about where and when he decides to show his affection. If I sit in a specific chair or lie down on a certain couch, that is his invitation to come up and just love me to death—but not if I sit somewhere else. Francois, the Siamese, is the shy one but the first to come greet me when I wake up in the morning. He is very thoughtful and does not wake me up until I am ready. When I come home after being out, Jean Pierre and Francois, are on the stairs waiting for me to come in the door. Sugar Pea is hanging out at the top overlooking the stairs. They are all waiting for a little kiss kiss before they go on their way. They are great companions and I am so happy I have more than one so that they keep each other entertained. If I have to be away from home, I still worry about them but not as much as I would if I just had one cat who was all alone. They fully keep each other, as well as me, entertained. When company comes, they always go in search of the cats to play with before they finally give their attention to me. Two is better than one, and three might be better than two!
