We always supported this company and were happy to do so, but Earthbound Farm has lost their delish: After constant disappointment that they dont offer coupons to us Canadians, and dont allow us to participate in contests, yet we can buy their cookbooks and spend our Canadian money on their products - finding all these people commenting on their nasty salads (on their FB page) is truly amazing, especially since they too are not alone. One of our (theirs) salad was half rotten though it had still a long expiry date; so we returned it. Next salad was fulla BUGS, and that just aint vegan enough!! Reminding us why we actually stopped purchasing EBF salads and lettuces so long ago, but I had forgotten why . . . till now. Not only unsanitary, but nasty just nasty especially when Im horrified at how many I could have eaten while prepping... And now I find our theyve sold out to another company; could that be why quality control seems to be nonexistent? Weve also tossed other Earthbound Farm products over the past while with great disappointment, as well as irritation that my hard earned dollars, which we carefully chose where we spend, keeps getting tossed in the compost. Customer lost I think. Its also, though an aside, interesting that Myrna always preached and promoted certain ideals, which we too always believed in, so why sell?
