We apologize for being behind on shipping some items and our emails. We would be lying to you if we did not admit we have been emotionally drained. Bentley is going back and fourth to the vet and we may have to get him a abdominal ultra sound. He is still a happy boy and eating drinking playing and even carried his toy into the vet! However he is having very loose stools we did have a fecal test done which was neg. Woohoo for clean poop. However we are concerned his cancer may be spreading and becoming worse. We cried on the floor with Dr. Simpson as Bentley played with his toy. Its really hard to watch him go through this. Its really hard to know when to let him go. Its awful to have to be in charge of life and death. We do not want to have Bentley suffer the vet assured us he has sometime left and that he will let us know when his time is up. We are a no kill rescue dedicated to the lives we save. Some dogs do not get chosen to go to a forever home. We do not give up on them. We care for them and keep trying to place them. Although Bentley as taken up a spot for 4 and a half years his life was worth saving. We will never know why he was never chosen to be someones forever love. We do know we stand by our rescue dogs and we provide the best care possible thanks to those who donate. Our donors help us provide medical care to our existing dogs and new incoming dogs.
