We apologize for the graphic nature of a couple of these photos, but we promise the ending is a happy one!!! Collaboration is a word that is thrown around a lot lately. Sometimes its just lip service but sometimes it truly means inter-organizational cooperation, and when that happens the outcomes are magical. LIke this story of Max: Max, the beloved dog of a near homeless man came to Dr. Kit, one of our mobile spay/neuter clinic partners, to have his little tostones snipped. Unfortunately Max was also suffering with a massive, cancerous tumor hanging from his chest. Friends provided the funds for his neuter, Lulus Fund stepped in with a donation for medical services and Dr. Kits skilled team removed that nasty growth. Three groups working together were able to save the life of a dog that means the world to his owner.
