We applaud ourselves for what is good and righteous in this country but readily and consistently turn a blind-eye to our most egregious self inflicted injustices. We live in a Bubble Of Illusion: I truly believe that there is an inherent psychological illness that exists in America that stems from never coming to grips with and atoning for how this country came in existence. We continue to ( try to ) live the lie of all lies. Racism and genocide is this nations birth defect and like an insidious cancer continues to rot many of us from the inside out. The thing is that many of us know what medicine we have to take, but lack the guts to speak up, even if its to save our lives and those of our offspring, and so we attack the messenger for delivering news that attempts to confront our self-imposed prison of denial and willful ignoranve; even if it kills us.
