We are 1-5 with 10 games to play. Of the 5 loses, besides the Chargers debacle, all games were close (and some winnable) against better teams. Now, you have to look at the schedule. We play New England twice and hopefully you can split that with them. Then, look at the rest of the teams we play: (New England), Buffalo, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Miami, Minnesota, Tennesee, (New England) and Miami. That’s EIGHT winnable games when you take away New England. Yes, we look like crap and our secondary is quite brutal but after Tom Brady, what other QB really scares you left on our schedule? We have to hope that Decker’s hamstring stays healthy and that Geno slowly grows as the season goes on. I’m not saying we can make a run at a wild-card. That is the least of my concerns. I want this team to get to 8 wins with the lack of talent they have so Idzik’s plan to fire Rex fails and Rex can benefit from hopefully spending the money in Free Agency next year. The schedule is in our favor now despite this disgusting start. Let’s just hope we can make it interesting with some W’s!
