We are 13 days from the election and Im praying no one is killed - TopicsExpress

We are 13 days from the election and Im praying no one is killed or injured by the hailstorm of anti-Phil Moffett mailers hitting in the 32nd District! There have been at least a dozen sent so far. IMHO, theyve jumped the shark with their implausible accusations. For those concerned, keep in mind there is a reason they are beating on me so much - I threaten the status quo. I want things to change. And I have a lot of good ideas. I campaigned for governor in 2010-2011 on a platform calling for Kentucky to change the way we do things. I called for us to look at other states that consistently create jobs and improve economic opportunities so we could mimic what they are doing. Citizens across the state understood the message so clearly they gave it 38% of the vote - strong response for a guy with no name recognition and a nearly nonexistent budget. Todays hailstorm of mailers are funded by out of state labor unions, Jefferson County Teachers Association (union), and organizations closely controlled by Speaker Greg Stumbo, and Governor Steve Beshear. They fear the State House switching hands from 92 years of Democrat control to the Republicans. When that happens, their power is diminished considerably and Kentucky will have the opportunity to change for the better, for everyone. Personally Im tired of Kentucky being at the bottom of the good lists and at the top of the bad ones. We need to shed the ties that bind us and open the door to a freer and more prosperous Kentucky. I hope you feel the same way. If you live in District 32, say good things about me to 10 of your neighbors and friends. Lets make sure we show up on November 4th to change Kentucky for the better!
