We are COMPLETE opposites! Adam is an extrovert (who scopes out peoples food in restaurants) and I am an introverted, quiet book worm (sometimes). Within a short time of being married we KNEW we were extremely different. Instead of opposites attract, we became opposites attack!!! For years I tried to change him and he tried to change me and that just didnt work. It took some trials and MUCH prayer to see that God had a plan for us, but we had to learn how to accept that AND our opposite personalities. I learned that no matter how hard I tried, I would not be able to change Adam and that Id better learn to understand him better instead. Dont try to change your spouse. Pray that God will help YOU to see the strengths in them and that you will learn to accept their differences, as they will have to do the same in you as well. Learn about and embrace them as they were created.
