We are Happy to introduce our latest family member. He was a shelter adoption (kill shelter) after a long vetting process on how he acts, reacts and his potential, last week. He did really well. He is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier about 60#. His name was Blue for obvious color reasons. But good Karma requires new start, new home, new name he would recognize. He is now known as Malu; Hawaiian meaning embodying strength. He is VERY strong, but very trainable. He needs fine tuning but a has a good foundation, already walks with a slack leash, sits on command, come when he is called (mostly). He is also learning on an E-collar so he will listen to voice commands with or without a leash. Like the hunting dogs train with in the field. We are happy to save him from death row, always adopt!
