We are Purging now?? Why! What is that going to solve!? Who is that going to hurt?! The concept in the movie was that there will be no other crimes other than the twenty four hours alotted. We live in an era where fear and revenge thrive. After people purge, the crimes will still continue! We live in an era where love is lacking. We dont need twelve hours of crime. We need twelve hours of love. We need twelve hours of hugs, smiles,positivity and meaningful I Love Yous. There is so much hatred, fear, resentment, distrust fueling our bodies that we are losing ourselves. We are becoming consumed by negativity. All of the dystopian books we had to read(1984, Anthem, The Giver, Animal Farm, Lord of the Flies) they were places trying to achieve this utopian society but were unable to because the people did not have love! I guess I am just saying we need to learn to love and see other point of views......
