We are Sanctified the same way we are Justified. (By Grace Alone—Through Faith Alone— In Christ Alone.) Faith and deeds are polar-opposites. To have faith and to have deeds is a paradox. As hard as I have honestly tried, I find that it is a conundrum to trust souly in Christ while at the same time attempting to be meritorious. Regardless of excuse- It doesn’t work! The more I try; the more I fail. Equally, the less I try; the more I find success. At the end of the day you have to ask yourself a question, “Do I want to trust in my works, or, do I want to trust in the unconditional grace of God?” Galatians 3:2-5—"Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by[a] the flesh? Did you suffer[b] so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith."
