We are a family oriented group of like minded war time veterans, we are the American Freedom Riders, Sons of the American Legion, and also the Ladies Auxiliary, we are all centered around one organization known as The American Legion...If you have served during these dates or have verifiable proof that a family member served during these dates you are eligible to be a part of our growing family..... Aug. 2, 1990 to today (Gulf War / War On Terrorism) Dec. 20, 1989 to Jan. 31, 1990 (Panama) Aug. 24, 1982 to July 31, 1984 (Lebanon / Grenada) Feb. 28, 1961 to May 7, 1975 (Vietnam War) June 25, 1950 to Jan. 31, 1955 (Korean War) Dec. 7, 1941 to Dec. 31, 1946 (World War II) April 6, 1917 to Nov. 11, 1918 (World War I) Check our site often, we have rides all the time and ALL are welcome for almost all the rides.........If you are a Veteran or the spouse of a Veteran and are interested in joining the American Legion family, and maybe being a part of our riding group, American Freedom Riders, please come by the post any time. Lets get to know each other....We are a family oriented riding group who RESPECT ALL and claim no territory. We support a number of veterans organizations, including Wounded Warrior. You need not be a veteran yourself, if you have a family member and they were Honorably discharged from any branch of military service during war time, you may also become a part of our group American Freedom Riders by becoming a part of SAL (Sons Of The American Legion, proof will be required of family members service)....We consist of the American Legion, American Freedom Riders, Sons of the American Legion, and the ladies Auxiliary...
