We are a nation of laws, not lawlessness. When we become the latter and condone illegal behavior, it encourages more people to behave illegally. We can see that with the DACA - the presidents illegal amnesty for Dreamers declared by executive order in 2012 - which only encourages aliens to risk their lives to come to America illegally and get permisos. The 100s coming each day will become 1,000s tomorrow. If you open the door, they will enter. Reconquista in process. How can a city financially absorb the cost? How can a school district handle the flood of students? Are taxpayers ready for additional school levies to handle a surge of illegal alien students? If you grant it, they will come; and if a city does this, they better be ready for ALL the consequences. But what about violations of immigration law? Boston is already concerned about the wave of illegal immigrants and its impact on schools.
