We are a quarter way through the season, some interesting division - TopicsExpress

We are a quarter way through the season, some interesting division leaders: Bills, Texans, Chargers, Cardinals and Lions. Here is how I see the NFL right now. Week 4 Power rankings: 1. Seahawks (2-1)- Still a pretty consensus best in the NFL after a week 4 bye. 2. Broncos (2-1)- Another week 4 bye, still AFC favorite. 3. Bengals (3-0)- One of 2 undefeated teams remaining, best +/- points ratio in the league. 4. Cardinals (3-0)- So we give all the elite teams week 4 byes, gotcha. 5. Colts (2-2)- Colts finally coming to life, wouldnt shock me if they went the rest of the season undefeated. Big test in Baltimore this week, then Bengals week 7. 6. Chargers (3-1)- Sitting atop the division has to feel nice. Phillip Rivers producing (of course after 3 years of destroying my fantasy team as a starting QB). 7. Lions (3-1)- Well I dont think anybody in the world predicted that the Lions would be led by their defense, but that has been the case so far. Offense has been hit or miss, and that will tidy up when Megatron gets 100% again. 8. Packers (2-2)- Sometimes you lose the rushing war by 179 yards and still dominate a team, that is when you realize you have an elite QB and a great group of WRs. Also helps to see the defense get a couple take aways. Welcome back, Packers offense. 9. Bears (2-2)- Sometimes you win the rushing war by 179 yards and still get dominated, that is all Cutlers fault I am sure of it. If Cutler had played better defense and actually play better pass coverage maybe Rodgers wouldnt have went off. If nothing else fans, remember everything and I mean EVERYTHING is Cutlers fault. WWII, Nam even the Civil War... all Cutlers fault. 10. 49ers (2-2)- So the best offensive and the worst overall second half teams battled this weekend. The worst overall second half team won the second half 13-0. You cant make this up ladies and gentlemen. 49ers dominated the Eagles offense only giving up 1 TD on defense. 11. Ravens (3-1)- Ravens week 1 loss to the Bengals not looking so bad anymore. Last 3 weeks have found better results and they have looked better. Holy Steve Smith sums up last weeks game against the Panthers. 12. Eagles (3-1)- Did they run out of Tim Tebow like 4th quarter magic or were they exposed on the offensive and defensive line? Game was a lot closer thanks to a Return and Interception return both for touchdowns. Either 49ers proved they are not a joke, or Eagles proved they are not world beaters. Probably a little of both. 13. Cowboys (3-1)- So when you think of the Cowboys you think of Romo, Witten and Bryant right? What if I told you their passing game has been what is holding them down? Demarco Murray right now is the best RB in the league and is the Clayton Kershaw of Running backs, not even a close race. Dallas defense has been surprisingly not completely awful, and has been decent proving that big names mean absolutely nothing. 14. Falcons (2-2)- Falcons are giving us exactly what we expected... from the Cowboys. There is a best offense in the league right now and it is held in the Dome in Georgia. Kudos Matt Ryan, never been a fan but you are doing incredibly well. Need some sort of defense to back him up. 15. Saints (1-3)- The year is not over for New Orleans, but it will be soon if they continue to look terrible. 1 year after looking like they fixed up the defense, they look like they have gotten even worse and they dont have the elite offense they once had. Yards are great, points are better though. 16. Chiefs (2-2) 17. Patriots (2-2)- Will the real Tom Brady stand up? No... the real Tom Brady. Oh, he no longer exist okay. Exact opposite reaction as Bears fans, you blame everyone in the world before you blame Brady. It was the water boy, the announcer, stupid models, its even Bushs fault before it is Bradys. Brady has been playing like a 15-20 ranked QB this year, and even when given protection he still makes bad throws. Here is the big problem, he has done it before with no name WRs, with a terrible offensive line or with a terrible defense. He has a good defense and a decent Oline, and still this. 18. Panthers (2-2) 19. Steelers (2-2) 20. Giants (2-2) 21. Vikings (2-2) 22. Browns (1-2) 23. Texans (3-1) 24. Jets (1-3) 25. Dolphins (2-2) 26. Bucs (1-3) 27. Skins (1-3) 28. Bills (2-2) 29.Titans (1-3) 30. Rams (1-2) 31. Raiders (0-4) 32. Jags (0-4) -Austin
