We are a team of 4 Cal students, and we created a place for people in Berkeley to share and discover ideas with like-minded people. We’ve been working on this idea for 3 years, and this is a culmination of our efforts and passions during our time at Cal. We hope you would give it a try: irisbeta/ There are so many great ideas shared in Berkeley from both students and faculty, but many of them quickly get buried. We want to make Iris a place for Cal students to share ideas about Berkeley - perhaps opinions on the tuition hike, or about their passions, like Web Design. We think a lot of these great ideas deserve to be seen by the greater Berkeley community, and we help individual bloggers and student publications share their articles with more people around the Berkeley campus. If you are a blogger, Iris is a place for you to bring your ideas from your blog and share them with the audience. If you are a reader, Iris delivers you interesting stories from people just like you. We have partnered with publications like BerkeleyByte, Spoon University and The Berkeley Blog to share some of the great ideas that students and professors share in UC Berkeley.
