We are actively recruiting Veterans of all branches, with Mechanical, Highly Technical backgrounds or a formal automotive education, to be trained as Audi Service Technicians. These are full time, paid positions. The first opportunity for formal schooling and a pay increase is within the first 6 months (or sooner). Everyone is expected to be able to help with the basic Automotive PMS in the Service Department while preparing for school (similar to a Lube tech responsibility). Starting pay is entirely based upon the local rate for a beginning mechanic (not-certified). Credit can be given for experience. We may have an opening close to you ! We expect to have a positive impact on Veteran unemployment. Since starting in July 2013, Audi Dealerships have hired over 135 Audi Veterans to Technicians, nationwide. There is a summary of basic information on our Website audivets and a video featuring Veterans hired in the program. The Audi dealership provides the OJT and formal certification training. We will also be recruiting for Parts Technicians, Service Consultants and other staff members. The Dealerships do not accept walk-in traffic, so please direct applicants to complete the online registration. Applicants apply from the Veterans page and will be tasked to select a location, answer basic HR questions and upload a resume. Qualified applicants will be contacted to provide a DD214 copy and are then are scheduled for a phone Technical interview. There is a drop-down tab to include giving your Veterans Representative the referral credit.
