We are all aware of the recent calamity that happened in our brothers and sisters in the Visayas, particularly to the families of our co-students and co-teachers in iS Cebu in Daanbantayan, Cebu, where super typhoon Yolanda made its 3rd landfall. As of this moment, many families in daanbantayan cebu are still in need of food and shelter, many cannot come to class because they dont have clothes to wear, or they deem it more important to find food and fix their house rather than come to school. The Parents-Teachers Council and the Supreme Student Council in coordination with the management of iS Cavite, have decided to launch a relief program for Daanbantayan, Cebu. Taking in mind the difficulty of logisitics and transporting relief goods from Cavite to Cebu. The PTC and SSC have decided to expand the current fundraising project of both organizations to cover the relief operations. Part of the proceeds of the Garbage Collection Project of the SSC will go to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda in Daanbantayan, Cebu. Students may help by bringing in more garbage so that the proceeds will be large enough to cover for the relief that will be given to Daanbantayan, Cebu. Also, part of the proceeds of the Raffle Ticket Fundraising of the PTC will be donated. The PTC will give an additional 100Php worth of tickets to each student. Parents can help by selling these tickets to relatives and friend for the benefits of the victims of typhoon yolanda. Furthermore, management have decided that instead of giving christmas baskets to indigents within the community during our Gift Caravan, we focus all our efforts in these fundraising project for our relief operations. The Admin. Office will also be accepting donations of non-food items, such as old clothes, blankets, towels, rubber slippers (new). Cash donations will also be accepted, for Cash donations kindly enclosed it in a sealed white envelope, with your childs name, level, and amount of donation on the front. Everybody can help, and we are appealing to your generous hearts that we unite and cooperate in these endeavor, so that our relief operations could reach many families in Daanbantayan, Cebu.
