We are all children of God and we have been given gifts, the gift of life, of agency, of salvation, of eternity. But these gifts came by a price to our Father, it was His Son, our brother who by strict obedience to our Fathers will made it possible to return home, to have eternal life and exaltation. If we choose to accept this gift we can gain all that the Father has, all that is asked is to follow his Son, to believe in Him and to take His name upon us and to show our gratitude and love through obedience. He is the gift we celebrate at this season.
