We are all free and liberated, if only we could drop the rigidity - TopicsExpress

We are all free and liberated, if only we could drop the rigidity of ideals, traditions, conventions, rules, grammar, logic, habits. customs, social barriers, thinking patterns and so on. Last night, We had an amazing satsang at chikmagalur. We also had the honour of breaking a long held tradition of guru parampara where only the sadhak honours his/her guru by touching his feet. Most people dont even understand why this is done. Touching the feet of a Guide on the path is a time honoured tradition. This is mainly done to signify that a sadhaka is ready to walk path of the Guru. The path of a guru is awaken the fire which is dormant within. The sublimated fire rises through the Vajrini Nadi (emerging from the toe and connecting to brahma randhra). An awakened Vajrini is honoured and this can be used relay the electro magnetism required to awaken a dormant state in a sadhaka. We graciously touched the feet of all present in the satsang, honouring each other. The feeling was intense and beautiful. Giving and receiving is the best way to complete the cycle of human journey. This is crucial to open all portals within us. Most of us carry Ego very subtly and it can surface when we least expect it. It can be active or passive. Both need to be identified. We can only sustain enough Ego only to protect ourselves and retain the identity of a unique expression. Thanking all those present in the satsang: Sachidananda Saktrepatna Nayak, Kumar Kanchan Shantharam Shetty, Parthi Bhan A, Bhuvanaa Partha, Vishak Parthibhun, Rishikesh Babaji (shivamurthy), Dr Sanman, Sunil .
