We are all sinners but SHEPHERDS should lead on positive paths for the FLOCKS to follow. (Mathew 15:14, Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.) When the Shepherds are blind, they will lead the flocks to the bottom of cliff. Proverbs 6:16-19 (NIV) 16 There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, 19 a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. You corrupted your wisdom because of your splendour. You deceive others but you do not deceive God who searches the heart and knows your evil intent. With your tongue, you praise the Lord, and with the same tongue you curse human beings created in God’s image. Out of your mouth comes praise and curse. Will GOD listen to your praise or curse that would come back to hurt you? You devise wicked scheme, your heart is full of evils. You devise a plan to destroy what make other people joyful; you sow a seed of discord in a happy home. You are the person that God is personally opposed. Jeremiah 17:9; “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” Like feet that are quick to rush into evil, you quickly jump to your feet to take advantage of someone in a vulnerable position. You don’t stop and ponder about it. You pour out lies to cover your wicked heart. Your lies catch up with you because you have to lie to cover up the first one and many times. From your mouth, you exposed your lies. As a person who stirs up conflict, you tell “A” this is what “B” says about you and your sibling, vice verse. You tell “B” that “C” is dangerous and not a good person to be friend with. But when “C” comes to the scene, in the present of “B”, you will be the first to embrace, laugh and joke with “C”. The same “C” you already told “B” that he or she was dangerous. You appear as a person people will consider above reproach. People might say that you are not having conflict with anybody but in reality, you are doing nothing to settle it but doing everything to increase it. Matthew 12:34-37 34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. 35 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Romans 16:17 17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. My Brothers and Sisters in Christ rediscover the person you were and PLEASE make a big CHANGE. Psalm 133:1 1 How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! Lord, I pray that we would be led by your hand, and that you alone will guide us down the way that you would have us to go. I also ask that when you speak; we will recognize that it is you.
