We are approaching the final push for the Mosconi Cup final 5 players with everyone working hard. I could not be more proud of the special group of guys that constitute Team USA 2014. Everyone is contributing to the sport and improving as players. They have all taken to heart the establishing of true professionalism, unity, and discipline, and I have complete confidence in all of these superior performers. I will be delighted taking any of them to represent United States in Blackpool, England and currently face making the tough final selections. We plan to all attend the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship in October as a team which will really be a fun opportunity along with a great challenge. I hope to see and interact with all of our serious pool fans there. The progress has been significant and we are looking to further establish and maintain some momentum. I also wish to mention that the management team of Cathy Wilson (motivator), Derrick Cox ( voice of Team USA), Don Wardell (coach) and team inspirational leader, Lt. Commander Amir Pishdad have all proven highly valuable and added greatly to building a future of success by fostering the real Team atmosphere. We have also had contributions for the betterment of the sport from Bill Young of Chalk Box who donated custom and unique commemorative chalk holders to be awarded to fans that wish to recognize and support Team USA and the quest for success. Lindenwood University has contributed the use of the Billiards Arena and Allison Fisher for her generous donation to promote the sport by giving a clinic here in St. Louis. The fans and supporters have been the true 6th man and they are a true inspiration every day. Lets make this happen, Mark Wilson
