We are at Nationwide Childrens with Addie. Shes had a swollen, fevered knee for 3 days so we took her to the doctor. She was originally diagnosed with septic arthritis and was put on antibiotics but last night the swelling, redness and fever was spreading down to her ankle so we headed up here. They said it is a bacterial infection which enter the skin through a floor burn from volleyball. As of right now she doesnt need any surgery to drain it but she has to stay a couple of days to make sure the antibiotics she is getting now is working. Please keep her in your prayers.
