We are auctioning a Signed Celtic Thunder Banner for Charity! Celtic Thunder fans who attended the post show VIP events on the Symphony Tour, took time out to sign the Celtic Thunder banner you see here. Over the course of 21 shows we invited our Celtic Thunder Fans to sign or leave a note on the Celtic Thunder Logo Banner. The city name for each tour date was also designed and hand drawn onto the banner by members of Celtic Thunder cast and crew - Music Director David Munro, Conductor David Brophy, Singer Keith Harkin and Band Member Dave Bakey to name but a few. On the very last night of the tour, Keith, Ryan, Neil, Emmett and Colm signed the banner. We think its really cool and a perfect and unique piece of Celtic Thunder memorabilia for the Fan who has everything!! Celtic Thunder intend to sell this banner to the fan that bids the highest $$ amount and will donate 100% of all money raised from the sale to one of Celtic Thunders Official Charities - The Red Hill Township in South Africa. About Red Hill The Red Hill Township settlement has been slowly expanding over the last 20 years to house displaced Africans and refugees living in poverty post-Apartheid. Approximately 2,500 people live in this area, in houses made from scrap materials such as iron and wood. Many are unemployed and unable to provide their children with food and proper education. A soup kitchen runs in Red Hill through the winter months; It fed 150 families for 4 months last winter and genuinely saved lives. Babies, the elderly, pregnant Moms are all vulnerable and the first to be affected by malnutrition. Thanks to the donations of Celtic Thunder fans, this was prevented from happening in Red Hill last year. Our support is needed again this year and the proceeds raised from the sale of the Celtic Thunder Step and Repeat Banner will go towards running the Pre-School and Soup Kitchen at Red Hill.
