We are aware that customers have been experiencing challenges using their Visa Debit Cards at some Point of Sale Machines owned by National Commercial Bank (Jamaica) Limited (NCB). Arrangements were recently made with JETS Limited, our card processing provider, to facilitate a swipe and pin action for our Visa Debit cards, instead of a swipe and sign as previously required. NCB is in the process of making adjustments to its Point of Sale Machines, eCommerce, and Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) platforms, to facilitate this new processing method. We are working with them to resolve this issue as soon as possible and would like to remind customers that you can utilise Scotia Online to complete your bill payment and third party transactions.
