We are being inundated daily by people asking us to take in their unwanted pets. Our policy is to give priority to injured, abandoned and sick animals. So far we have never had to turn away any animals needing veterinary attention. But we do not have the resources to take in unwanted animals. If you have a pet you no longer want, please think again, see if you can you find another family member who can keep it safe, dont move to a place that doesnt allow animals, and do not give it away free to good home. Most of the other Cork rescues are also full most of the time, but some of them might have space. We do not have kennels or cattery, and at present we have 35 dogs in foster homes, some of the foster homes have 2 or 3 foster dogs. Some of these need long term veterinary care. MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL: PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ON A PET UNLESS YOU CAN GIVE IT A LIFETIME COMMITMENT...
