We are busy working on our website, thinking carefully about our aims and compiling information that should be of use to Cameroonian asylum seekers when they first come to the UK as well as building up a library of useful information for those who achieve their status in the UK. We are also working on the best ways we can support people working for Human Rights in Cameroon. But our priority in the next three weeks is to encourage anyone who has been in detention or who has supported people in Immigration Removal Centres to write about their experiences for the very important Detention Inquiry that is being carried out for the Government and which could have a big impact on future policy, we hope. It is our chance to achieve improvements to our current inhumane system of indefinite detention of asylum seekers.
