We are buying a car tonight and was going to part x our car but the guy is saying he wont be able to sell our car on so will only give us scrap value. It is an 02 plate Citreon Xsara Picasso, recently passed MOT and runs perfect, never not started and drives perfect! The only fault are he driver side window slipped down 2 days ago, still goes up and down but slowly and intermittently so probably come out of runners and the electric key isnt working at the minute so cant currently lock the car. Do you think we are better selling privately to someone who could easily fix these problems for not much money?? Body work is very good for its age too!!
