We are called to Agape (love) all people, even our enemies, even though we dont have any warm feelings of affection for them. Romans 12:20-21 tells us that ~ If they are hungry, we can feed them; if they thirst, we can give them a drink …. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome (conquer) evil with good.. (“sometimes you have to go through the greedy to get to the needy” a good example of this is the Love Center) We can choose to seek the betterment and welfare of others regardless of how we feel. There are blessings and curses that will accompany your actions…(Mt 25:31-46) Luke 6:35-36 says, But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
