We are certainly in the midst of our was I consider a normal winter for this region. Yes, snow is falling around the country, strong winds in a high percentage of the country and here we are feeling the middle range if I can say it like that. we have now had 2 days of cloudy and sometimes wet days down to 13 and 14 degrees on the back of 18 to 20 and 21 degrees on either Friday or Sat. Not a lot happening, tours are down to a minimum, but on a positive side, we are taking lots of bookings some out to Nov 2015 (cruise ship private bookings). During this time of year, we get in to refreshing mode as it were... yes, around the wineries to taste what we hear so much about during our tours... someone has to do it so Margaret and I put our hands up... sorry liver....Heeee Heee. I have attached a few images of Margaret and friends taking our Ultimate Wine experience Tour. Tasting from the French Cuves (oak tanks) and the aging tanks before heading back to the cellar door to taste premium wines and match these with food. The day we took this tour they presented us with, steak, mushrooms, olives, salmon, blue cheese and chutneys.... some one has to do it. This was a classic tour as we present to our clients on the day. Actually on our tours we also take in the winery tour and winery museum set inside the old partially underground fermentation tanks of yesteryear. I have taken dozens of these tours and I never tire of them as many of you will know. Must fly, I have written too much already - check out the images in a few minutes... John
