We are constantly told about unemploment figures and the workshy, - TopicsExpress

We are constantly told about unemploment figures and the workshy, benefit scroungers. Lets look at how the unemployed are treated by the elite. Jobcentre staff are told to change appointments at too late notice, so claimants default on their conditions. The unemployed are ridiculed and slandered as lazy. In the 70s people could pick and choose low skilled work, you got fed up with a job, you went to the factory next dor and started a new one and the money wasnt bad either. Now let us factor in immigration, not controlled, useful immigration, but an open door policy, that floods a country with low skilled workers and unemployable. These people will work for a lower wage that is still higher than what they can achieve back home. They then band together, the chargehand/foreman is an immigrant, they all speak the same language. Any indigenous person applying for a job at that place is then refused (the reasons are varied and all seemingly legal), why? Because they would not fit in. These immigrants, take up our Doctors/Dentists/services/hospital spaces and A & E. None of which they have paid in to. Once working, they apply for top up benefits, Housing, Council Tax, Working Families Tax Credits, Child Benefit, etc. So we now have the lower skilled jobs filled by immigrants. Ah, say the politicians, but there are hundreds of thousands of jobs out there, youre just not trying! We think you are lazy scroungers, so we are going to put limitations on your eligibility for benefits including those of you who are ill. You must spend 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, actively applying for jobs you can do. As anyone actively looking for work knows, this is impossible, as that many jobs do not exist in your local area for unskilled people. Any that were there, have already been filled! What other jobs are out there for the normal person? Lab Technician, PR Manager, Management consultant (must speak Mandarin). Jobs that sometimes, for even the description, you would need an English Masters Degree to understand what the job is! Millions of immigrants over the last few decades, filling factory, farming and shop low skilled vacancies. The jobs were there, but not any more, at least, not for us! So, If you do not go on this placement, or jump through these impossible hoops (even when ill), you will lose your benefits and be labelled as lazy. Two weeks working in poundland on your CV, wow, you are now instantly employable, shame there is nowhere for you to go. What happened to government investment in manufacturing, in apprenticeships, in a decent education, where you were taught skills? How many Media Studies, Nail Technicians, Beauty Consultants, IT Consultants, Hairdressers and Fashion Consultants do we actually need? Are there even the vacancies available for these non-productive graduates, time waster courses? We need controlled borders and a weeding out of the euro-junk (people who have never worked since coming here, criminals, rapists, radicals and people who deny our laws and right to exist in our own country), keeping the people who need to be here for our countrys benefit. We need investment in a proper, non-PC job driven education system, instead of the target based drivel they are teaching our kids. We need kids that can read, write and spell correctly. We need investment in manufacturing and unskilled work. We need apprentiships, so that children who are not academic, can shine in the things they are interested in. Our Schools need to become places of fascination, not the incredibly boring, purile places they are. Make things fly/explode/grow/change. Teach them what to investigate, instead of what not to say. Instead of looking for scape-goats and blaming the unemployed for the situation YOU have put them in, try this:- Investment, Training, Vacancies. Can it really be that hard? Steven Palfrey 14/07/2014
