We are created to receive and give love. God tells us in His Word to put on love. I believe the phrase put on means to do it on purpose. We are to clothe ourselves as representatives of God, Who is love (1John 4:8; 2 Corinthians 5:20). We are instructed to put on behavior that is marked by mercy, compassion, kind feelings, gentle ways, and patience, which is tireless and long_suffering. We are challenged to be people who endure whatever comes with good temper and to readily pardon one another. Stop wearing things that dont fit, things that make you uncomfortable, and put on love!
