We are currently having vacancies for Data Center Supervisors / Senior Technicians - 10 Job Purpose: The role of Data Centre Senior Technician / Supervisor is to provide assistance to the Data Centre Supervisor / Data Center Manager, in maintaining an infrastructure to support our client. Primary responsibilities include maintenance of a general facility located in Dubai . This includes performing and supervising facility and plant maintenance, as well as meeting all program maintenance reporting requirements and deadlines. Responsibilities: - Address any emergency maintenance issues by performing and/or coordinating repair efforts - Maintain facility well being, reliability and general appearance by performing daily technical survey inspections - Direct interface in executing / supervising all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works - Maintain a Monthly Maintenance Program for all mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment preventative maintenance - Run and test multiple emergency power standby generators / redundancy tests (UPS/Chillers/Cracs/….) - Measure and monitor facility and customer power consumption - Propose improvement, create and implement cost saving projects, with relation to facility maintenance - Assist team members in solving (non)routine issues - Ensure that fire safety, electrical, mechanical codes and OSHA standards are being met within the data centre facility Desired Skills and Experience: - Minimum 7 years’ experience in mechanical and power field for data centres - Must be detail oriented with excellent English communications, interpersonal skills. - Must be able to lead independently. - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Skills with Microsoft Excel/Word to create preliminary reports / incident reports - Proven organizational ability and attention to detail a must. - Strong analytical skills. - Must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible, and able to work within and meet deadlines. - Must be able to work in shifts 24x7 Salary Range: AED 3,500 – 7,000 depending on skill & experience.
