We are currently in the preparatory planning process of developing a plan for young people in Kisumu County which will involve youth leaders at ward, constituency and county levels, elected and nominated MCAs, youth organizations and representatives of the county government of Kisumu. The plan will highlight key areas for policy and programmatic interventions by the Kisumu County Government and it our hope that the proposed County Youth Plan will inform policy makers in the integration of youth issues in development and governance processes at all levels. As young people lets raise up to the occasion and make this a reality.
