We are currently looking for those who are interested in completing an IRB crew and / or IRB drivers course the coming season. We desperately need more people to do these awards to fulfil patrol obligations. The plan is to commence the course the induction in mid-September and began the practical training on the 20th or 29th of September depending on Jeff Rodway s availablility. The club always needs news new drivers to replace those who move away due to work or other commitments. We also need a certain number of candidates to run the course. Prerequisites for the IRB crew award is a current Bronze medallion. IRB driver requires the IRB crew award and be at least 17 years of age at the time of the assessment. If you are interested in the IRB Drivers award, but do not hold a crew award please let us know any way. We will see what can be done to train you in both awards concurrently.
