We are currently recruiting for more Foster to Forever candidates! Our Foster to Forever project has been created to help long term shelter residents find their forever families while in foster care. This groundbreaking program empowers foster parents to recruit, screen and adopt pets straight from their homes. People who might ordinarily be reluctant to foster are more willing to take a pet into their homes for a one-month time frame – especially since the foster animals are healthy and can be included in their day to day activities. Foster to Forever animal candidates are up to date on all their shots, micro-chipped, spayed or neutered and have already had their basic behavior evaluation complete. These are cats and dogs who are 100% ready for their new homes. Participating foster families are provided with adoption screening training, a media kit and a specific adoption time frame to help them focus their efforts. Our staff team also provides support throughout the animal’s stay to ensure that we are doing our best in recruiting an adopter. To apply to join the Foster to Forever team follow the link below:
