We are deeply sad to hear of the parting of our dear friend Jacques Kober. Jacques Kober, friend and confidante of Galerie Maeght founder Aimé Maeght, was a poet integral to our history. His influence can be felt in every book we have printed. Jules Maeght had the pleasure of printing Jacques Kobers final two books. One, Un temps fustigé par la mer is a bibliophile book of original litographs by Valerio Adami that accompany Kobers poems. The final book of poems by Jacques Kober, printed by Jules Maeght at ARTE in Paris, is a collection of poems entitled Linusable des Lèvres. In addition to his poems, Kober recounts the time when he and Aimé Maeght become friends and partners. Join us in celebrating Jacques Kobers illustrious and beautiful life.
