We are delighted to announce that Born Free will be supporting the Wildlife Rescue Team at Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT), to enable them to continue providing valuable veterinary treatment (such as the Slow Loris pictured) and rescue for wildlife in Southeast Asia, by funding the costs of a veterinarian, a vehicle and medical care for animals. Edwin Wiek from WFFT said: “Our wildlife hospital and its mobile wildlife clinic are the heart of our operation, with now 3 veterinarians and 2 assistants currently working fulltime they have daily surgeries, check-ups and rescues to perform. Our hospital with its surgery room, ultra-sound and fully equipped blood lab is now self-sustainable with the only thing lacking an x-ray machine. Without the help of donations such as granted by Born Free Foundation, our wildlife rescue team would not be able to go out and treat or rescue injured wildlife nor could it provide veterinary assistance to other projects in Thailand and Laos as they currently do.” Find out more about WFFT and their work here: https://facebook/WildlifeFriendsFoundation?ref=br_rs
