We are delighted to announce that Mary Nazzal-Batayneh has joined the Board of Directors of Al-Shabaka. Mary, one of the first Policy Advisors to join the Al-Shabaka Network, has served on its Membership Committee. She holds degrees from Columbia University, the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), the College of Law, and the Inns of Court School of Law. She is an active human rights campaigner, and co-founded the Palestine Legal Aid Fund, a movement to hold Israel accountable for its international law violations. She is also the President of Landmark Hotels. Her work was recently profiled as a Forbes cover story, and she was chosen as one of Forbes’ 200 most powerful Arab women in 2014.
