We are delighted to update you with wonderful news of Jemmis journey! You may remember that back in October our Orangutan rescue and rehabilitation centre in Borneo took in tiny Jemmi. At just 4 months old he was the youngest orangutan we had ever rescued. Jemmi had been kept as a pet, tied up in a box outside his owners house. When he arrived he was frightened and in need of 24 hour supervision from our medical team. However, thanks to our wonderful team Jemmi is doing really well and has been taken on his very first tree climbing adventure! We are so happy to share these photos with you, it is amazing to see Jemmi discovering the things that were so cruelly taken from him at such a young age. We think he looks gorgeous back up in the trees where he belongs :).
