We are excited and ready to get started this Saturday on our CAREFEST project. In the last few weeks, we have done a lot of “preliminary” work completed by several wonderful volunteers, including Ed, Judy and Paul from Holy Family Church; Sam, from our good friends DeeDe and Sam; Eric, Joe, Mary and Scott and Robin. Start time on Saturday is 8:00a, we will be there by 7:30a with donuts and bagels donated by Dunkin Donuts and Einstein Bagels. If I have not received your completed volunteer form yet, we will need you to fill one out on Saturday. The list below are items we are asking you to bring with you…if you have. Please remember to put your name on the things you bring. Items we suggest/request the volunteers to bring: folding chairs (for breaks) pry bars (to help pull up the wood base of the burnt shed) crow bars hammers if you have a truck, we can use a few more ladders both metal and/or plastic rakes long-handled pruners hand clippers drop cloths WORK GLOVES IS A MUST! CLOSED TOED SHOES IS A MUST for the back yard as there is broken glass scattered around. sun block bug spray If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Robin.
