We are excited to announce that Jason has been approved for Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP)! This is a safe treatment for GvHD that takes about 4 hours a day, 2 days a week for the first month. The second month is 2 days a week, every other week. Then possibly 2 days a week once a month. The white blood cells are collected and then killed with UV light after exposure to a light sensitive compound. They are then put back in Jason. This will modulate the immune system towards tolerance without causing immunosuppression. They will be able to get rid of steroids quickly once he gets started. As you may recall, the steroids suppress the t-cell booster from killing the cancer so we need him off them ASAP! Thank yall for your prayers! They are being answered!! ~Stacy
