This award is given to a recipient for their career contributions to the sport of running and the Chicago area running community. Winners are selected by CARAs Executive Director and Race Committe. The first CARA Lifetime Award recipient is Chicago area running legend Warren Utes! Ever youthful Warren Utes, finishing the half marathon in 1:25:54, beat not only his own Illinois 70-74 record of 1:27:50, but likely has added another U.S. record to his long list of accomplishments.
