We are excited to offer our first, convenient, Weekend flu vaccination clinic this Saturday, October 18th at our 530 West Webb Ave office in downtown Burlington from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Appointments are required. We will start scheduling appointments for this clinic on Tuesday, October 14 at 9:00am. You can call any office to schedule your appointment. For this clinic we will have vaccine supply for all ages and insurances. However, please be aware that for our privately insured patients we anticipate having only Trivalent, Multi-dose Fluzone for flu shots. We will have quadrivalent, preservative free single dose vaccine available from the NC State Vaccine Program for our Medicaid patients. And, we will have quadrivalent, preservative free, Flumist for both State Medicaid and privately insured patients. As recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), patients should not delay getting a flu vaccine if quadrivalent vaccine is not available.
