We are excited to share awesome news!! Unsung Heroes: The Story of America’s Female Patriots is scheduled to start airing on local PBS stations as early as May. The U.S. Army Womens Museum Director, Education Director, and Archivist all played major roles in researching and supporting the film. The upcoming documentary was executive produced by Ron Howard. Women In Military Service For America Memorial also supported film production. Unsung Heroes is a 2 hour, 2-part film, which celebrates the courageous heritage of women in the American military from the Revolution until today. Its theme, the price of liberty, is relevant to all Americans. It is an inspirational saga of unrecognized courage and sacrifice that touches every community in the nation.
