We are extremely proud to announce that DeisgnWorks Group is a 2014 National Telly Award Winner for a virtual exhibit video created for the Comanche National Museum honoring the Comanche Code Talkers of WWII. The video received the highly coveted Telly award for its sound design. With only black and white archival WWII video that contained no audio to work with, we created an exhibit that time-travels the viewer back to D-Day, and the heavily fortified beaches of Normandy, France, so they can experience the invasion from a Comanche Code Talkers perspective. Every single sound youll hear: from the beautiful custom music score, the crashing waves, the bullets, bombs and flamethrowers, to the soldiers heavy breathing and the code talkers dialog, was posted to the video in our studio and was not on the source material. This is what we call in our business… theatre of the mind. We are very proud of this award… and equally proud to be a partner with our friends in the Great Comanche Nation.
