We are finally getting our felled maple tree taken care of. A very dear friends husband and his son came by yesterday asking if they could cut the tree, which is still spread across a corner of our backyard, and haul the wood away. Andrea had suggested Michael might want to get his Boy Scout troop to do this some time ago. But he is a busy man, and finally is able to take care of it. Hell take away lots of good solid maple firewood and well have a clear corner in our yard again. Then well work on removing the yuccas that are trying to take over that area and any other errant bushes. Because we dont have harsh winters, it should be pretty pleasant doing yardwork during the coming months. I look forward to having a refurbished yard in front, back, and sides next spring. Believe me, it will never, never, never get out of control again. (Who said, Never say never?)
