We are finally here at the Ronald McDonald House, Room #2, and settled in :) Took a lot of work - like moving in a day. He did want a piece of string cheese, and Hamburger Helper - so I cooked, and he actually ate some! That was a good thing, since he hasnt eaten at the hospital. We have a clinic appointment at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow and another one Friday - we are about 10 min. drive from hospital, including parking. When he gets a little stronger, we will probably just walk. A few pictures added to the album after this post. Our table full of meds!! Currently about 12-14 between once and 4 times daily. Glad we are both good in math. A pose of him on the loveseat in the apartment; Ms. Kelli and Tyler on the turtles on Sunday; and Nick looking doctor-ly after his checkup with Dr. Mark. The boy and I last night and all the nurse/group pictures we could manage the last couple of days. Now we just watch every little thing and keep this boy germ- and fever-free. We are far from out of the woods - very long road ahead. Hoping to hear about donor percentage tomorrow or at least by Friday. We love and appreciate you all!! xo
