We are finally home in Titusville--Adam, Daddy, and I. Memphis, Newman, and Major are so happy to have us here--if even for a night. We will get a lot of love and comfort from them. We will be on a 2pm flight tomorrow to Memphis. Dr. Borja told us yesterday that in the ICU its not day-to-day, its minute-to-minute. Thats how life feels now... we are surviving minute-to-minute. I cannot thank each of you enough for your kind words, love, and support. Its overwhelming. I know I will look back and hold on to your kindness as the days will be rough ahead. Daddy and Adam are both laying down now, with the kids. Im quietly trying to write her obituary, because Im the writer of the family. I think of the things I want to say, but it seems so inappropriate. So for those of you who get the Standard-Democrat look out--it may not sound like all the other obits. But shes a pretty special person and I want it to stand out. I can only hope to be a glimmer of what she was. And the truth is that the brightest lights burn out the quickest, and her light shined so very brightly. Everyone loved her. And for that, I am truly thankful.
